Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant (AA)/Church Secretary. As the AA/Church Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative functions of the church. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to the church staff and congregation
- Maintain church records, including membership, attendance, and church reports
- Manage pastor/church calendar and schedule appointments
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Perform general office duties such as filing, copying, and data entry
- Assist with order entry and inventory management
- Provide customer support to church members and visitors
- Coordinate projects as assigned by church leadership
Experience:
- Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Previous experience in a similar administrative role is a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
