Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and organized individual to join our team as an Administrative Assistant (AA)/Church Secretary. As the AA/Church Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative functions of the church. This is a part-time position with flexible hours.


Duties:


  • Provide administrative support to the church staff and congregation
  • Maintain church records, including membership, attendance, and church reports
  • Manage pastor/church calendar and schedule appointments
  • Assist with event planning and coordination
  • Perform general office duties such as filing, copying, and data entry
  • Assist with order entry and inventory management
  • Provide customer support to church members and visitors
  • Coordinate projects as assigned by church leadership

Experience:


  • Proficiency in computer literacy, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
  • Previous experience in a similar administrative role is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Please note that this is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.

$ $18.33 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
