- Provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to a team of social worker assistants.
- Organize team activities and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Hold regular team meetings to discuss cases, offer updates, and address challenges or concerns.
- Aid social workers in client assessments, care plan development, and intervention implementation.
- Support clients and families by linking them with resources, services, and community organizations.
- Coordinate with other professionals, like healthcare providers and educators, for comprehensive client care.
- Maintain accurate client records, including case notes, assessments, and progress reports.
- Ensure adherence to legal and ethical standards concerning confidentiality and data protection.
- Assist social workers in preparing reports for internal use or external agencies as needed.
- Conduct training sessions for social worker assistants on topics such as case management, communication skills, and cultural competence.
- Offer ongoing mentorship and assistance to team members to help them enhance their skills and progress in their careers.
- Collaborate with social workers, supervisors, and team members for a coordinated approach to client care.
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders to address concerns, provide information, and facilitate service access.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field; LMSW or LCSW license preferred.
