Title:
Accounting Clerk**
Location: Phoenix, AZ

Contract Duration: 06 months

Summary/Objective:


This position reports directly to the Controller and works with several departments including but not limited to, warehouse, accounting, commercial operations, and pricing.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Review & sign off on daily receiving batches upon arrival from warehouse
  • Maintain Arizona Daily Receiving Log
  • Bimonthly Receiving Log Audit with Resolution
  • Number, Audit, Image, File, and Archive Daily Receiving Packets
  • Identify discrepancies for receive & breaks vs. claims
  • Process below threshold receive and breaks
  • Process inventory adjustments
  • Process code to code movements and layer adjustments after Staff Accountant validation
  • Log samples received into DC warehouse
  • Image transfer invoices
  • Provide BOL to receivers as needed
  • Other duties as assigned

Preferred Education and Experience:


  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Two years general accounting onthejob or formal education Knowledge:
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook)

Skills:


  • Accurate dataentry skills
  • 10 keys by touch.

Abilities:


  • Must have a sharp eye for detail
  • Must be able to multitask in a highenergy environment
  • Effective communication skills both verbal and written are vital to the success of this position
  • Must be a good team player who can build effective relationships with coworkers
  • Energetic, selfstarter with ability to prioritize
  • Highly organized individual who can work independently with the ability to meet deadlines
