    About the role

    :

    WEG Electric Corp. has a great opportunity for a position to join our team. This role will lead Sales and Business Development efforts for WEG products to pump OEMs.

    Primary Responsibilities:

  • Generates sales leads, develops sales opportunities, and leads the closure of new business.
  • Coordinate with WEG Area Managers, Territory Account Managers, and application Engineers to gain new business.
  • Develop and manage opportunity pipeline and work with non-direct reports to win pump OEM business.
  • Identify and understand industry trends and product needs to meet them
  • Participate of industry associations and trade shows relative to pump industry with the objective of developing relationships with key OEMs, understand trends in the industry and how to best position WEG to increase market share.
  • Develop reports and analysis on customer purchase trends to conduct business reviews and leverage new opportunities
  • Assist WEG Sales Area Managers on Pump OEMs accounts to ensure consistent commercial strategy in the industry.
  • Work with product management to develop industry specific product portfolio and marketing/promotional material
  • Conduct continuous business reviews with the relevant pump OEM customer and reporting the results and action plans to key stakeholders
  • Contract analysis and negotiations
  • Education:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent from a four-year college or university, or equivalent work experience.
  • Knowledge / training:

  • Deep knowledge of LV Motors products and applications.
  • Demonstrates breadth and depth of knowledge of customer needs, as well as knowledge of internal infrastructure and processes.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends, market forces, and customer expectations.
  • Strong knowledge of the most current technologies and products used in the industry.
  • Knowledge of competitor products and go to market strategies.
  • Market research tools.
  • Sales strategies.
  • Microsoft Office
  • Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant business experience
