Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our Coffee Manufacturing team.
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintainin, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment and machinery used in our coffee manufacturing process.
You will work closely with the production team to ensure tht operations run smoothly and efficiciently, minimizing downtime and maintaining high safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with equipment, implementing timely repairs to minimize downtime.
- Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requets and work with a sense of urgency to resolve issues.
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure all equipment operates at optimal performance and make neseccary adjustments when required.
- Perform regular inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including coffee grinders, roasters, packaging machines, and conveyors.
- Conduct routine checks on safety systems and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, parts inventory, and equipment history.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and machinery as neede, ensuring proper setup and calibration
- Participate in continous improvement initiatives, offering suggestions for enhancing efficiency and reliability.
- Follow allcompany policies and procedures, including safety protocols, and promote a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in a related field is preferred
- Proficient in English (both written and verbal communication skills)
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in maintennce or a related role, ideally in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong mechanical aptitiude with knowledge of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems and ability to identify and troubleshoot issues.
- Experience with form filled packaging machines and motor controls
- PLC trouble shooting skills
- Proficiency in reading technical manuals, blueprints and schemetics
- Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in manufactuing.
- Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with colleagues at all levels.
Comfortable working in a noisy environment with varying temperatures
