Description

Medline Industries, LP is the leading nationwide supplier of medical, surgical and pharmaceutical products to hospitals, nursing homes, HME providers, surgery centers, physician offices and homes care/hospice settings.

Under general supervision, set up, adjust, perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain assigned equipment with responsibility for production and quality.

Perform scheduled maintenance on assigned equipment.
Make preventative maintenance check and inspection of assigned equipment, report to shift supervisor, and take appropriate action.
Oil and grease equipment. Analyze mechanical and operational problems, make necessary corrections and run adjustments to maintain maximum production and quality.
Change equipment to new sizes, verifying after change over.
Test equipment to verify correct operation and production of quality products.
Relevant Work Experience
~1 year of experience with a forklift, conveyor and general equipment repair and maintenance.

Fundamental understanding of machinery/equipment.
Basic skill level in Microsoft Excel.

Willing to travel at least/up to 5% of the time for business purposes (within state and out of state).

Associates Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, Mechanical Engineering Technology, HVAC, or equivalent

Graduate of an apprenticeship program or hold current trade certification.

At least 3 years of experience in a building maintenance position servicing a facility larger than 75,000 square feet.

Frequently move, lift, carry supplies/equipment up to 50 lbs and may have to occasionally lift up to 75 lbs
Willing to operate material handling equipment (i.e. fork truck).
Write documents and reports using writing instruments and computers
and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) while maintaining equipment, and ensure a safe work environment by eliminating potential equipment safety hazards
Ability to work overtime and must be available for on-call requests as needed
