    The Role:
    Analyze and prepare the annual countywide budget.
    Assist in departmental budget preparations.
    Evaluate staffing, services, and policies to recommend budget changes.
    Develop analytical models and assist in long-term planning.
    Participate in policy issue analysis.
    Prepare financial reports and conduct year-end analysis.
    Ideal candidates should be detail-oriented, analytical, and team players.


    Experience, Skills, Abilities, and Education:

    Budget Analyst I:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    Two (2) years of professional work experience.


    Budget Analyst II:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    Three (3) years of professional work experience.


    Senior Budget Analyst:
    Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A professional designation or Master's degree in a finance-related field is desirable.
    Five (5) years of professional related work experience.


    Salary and Benefits:

    Annual salary:
    $57,199 to $117,197 (depending on qualifications and experience).
