HR Coordinator Position Overview

HR Coordinator Essential Functions

  • Providing primary daytoday administrative support to the Human Resources and Accounting Departments.
  • Acting as a liaison on administrative matters across the Thunderbird portfolio.
  • Drafting, proofreading, editing, organizing, tracking, and filing various business documents in accordance with established protocols including presentations, letters, messages, reports, memoranda, agreements, meeting agendas, and other corporate documents.
  • Create and maintain job descriptions across Thunderbird portfolio.
  • Full administrative responsibility for tracking open positions and posting requisitions on the Applicant Tracking System.
  • Processing I9's.
  • Conducting weekly New Employee Orientation (NEO) presentation.
  • Ownership of Company Newsletter.
  • Research and suggest organization process improvements.
  • Process employment verifications.
  • Source potential training options on Learning Management System (LMS) and outsourced training options.
  • Conducting new hire interviews at 30/60/90 days.
  • Conducting exit interviews.
  • Prioritizing matters for handling and processing in a timely manner and tracking to ensure that all deadlines are met.
  • Working closely with internal and external business associates and contacts to foster professional communication.
  • Organizing, maintaining, and updating electronic files and databases.
  • Facilitating the planning, agendas and arrangement of meetings and travel.
  • Ability to plan and coordinate large meetings for senior leaders, including management of the agenda, location, travel, etc.
  • Ensuring and protecting the confidentiality of Thunderbird's business matters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

HR Coordinator Required Experience

  • Basic understanding of HR function within an organization.
  • Capability of operating at the highest level of integrity, ethical standards, and confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of basic business terminology and concepts along with the ability to read, proofread and organize documents.
  • Proven ability to be hands on, rollup their sleeves and demonstrate resourcefulness, initiative, resultsorientation.
  • Has a mindset of continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strong partnerships and influence resources outside one's direct responsibility.

HR Coordinator Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • This position requires you to be onsite daily.
  • This position is primarily in an office environment.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite. +
  • Influencing skills to establish trust, credibility, and rapport at all levels of the organization; seen as humble, direct, and authentic while possessing professional presence.
  • Experience with an HRIS system (Paycor preferred).
