Description
Coach it Forward - Sports for Social Change
Grit Coaches will work alongside Physical Education Teachers in designated schools to reduce the student-to-teacher ratio and implement the YMP curriculum.
- Successfully completing Up2Us Sports Based Youth Development Certification training & AmeriCorps Requirements
- Teaching and facilitating the YMP curriculum and manual resistance fitness protocol
- Creating a safe space to allow students to reach the moment of choice
- Tracking data to measure successful student outcomes
- Being a positive role model
- Developing intentional mentoring relationships with students
- Support in developing lesson plans, classroom instruction, and student recognition
- Coach at least 1 afterschool sports program; continuing the implementation of the YMP curriculum
Requirements:
- 18 Years or Older
- Able to work in the US
- Must LOVE working with youth
- Available to work during school hours
- Passion/experience for Sports and Fitness
- Interested in being a lifechanging role model
- Pass all clearance screening
- Wants to have fun at work
- Have the availability to coach a sports team
Pay:
From $28,000.00 per year

Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
