We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Specialist (contractor) to join our team.

This role will play a crucial part in supporting our marketing efforts and ensuring the successful execution of various marketing initiatives, including events, trade shows, and promotional campaigns.


Essential Duties/Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, events, and trade shows to promote SoundThinking's products and solutions.
  • Conduct postevent followup activities to nurture leads and engage attendees, maintaining a strong relationship with event participants.
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure seamless event logistics, including booth setup, materials, and equipment.
  • Maintain a shared event calendar, tracking upcoming events, trade shows, and campaign milestones to ensure alignment across the marketing team.
  • Coordinate the procurement, design, and production of trade show merchandise and promotional materials, ensuring brand consistency and highquality deliverables.
  • Work closely with vendors and suppliers to manage trade show merchandise requirements and fulfillment, tracking inventory levels and reordering as needed.
  • Collect and analyze postevent data and feedback, preparing postevent performance reports that outline key metrics, successes, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist in managing and updating the company's website and social media platforms with eventrelated content and announcements.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to contribute innovative ideas to the marketing team.
  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing department as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 35 years of proven experience in marketing coordination, event management, or similar roles.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with marketing software and tools.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to contribute fresh ideas and innovative solutions.
  • Team player who can collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a customerfocused mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fastpaced, deadlinedriven environment.
