Your tasks:

  • Development of driver and application software under Linux
  • Development of hardware-related middleware modules up to user interfaces
  • Development and maintenance of embedded Linux systems
  • Release tests as part of software development
  • Participation in the conception and documentation of software (specification sheet, manual, production instructions)

Your profile:

  • Successfully completed technical studies in computer science, electrical engineering or comparable education
  • PhD in a relevant field with subsequent postdoc experience advantageous
  • Several years of development experience
  • Programming languages: C, Bash, Shell scripting, Python
  • Good knowledge of Linux on embedded systems/Linux distributions
  • Good knowledge of English
  • Advantageous: experience in network technology (Ethernet, TCP/IP, LAN, WAN) as well as knowledge of Git, SVN, Yocto,
