Responsibilities:
- Assist with new hire trainings
- Provide training and instruction to behavior technicians that are working directly with developmental disabilities in a behavioral health setting
- Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavior change
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement comprehensive treatment plans
- Adapt training techniques based on individual needs and progress
- Cover 1:1 sessions as needed
- Conduct parent/caregiver trainings
- Create an individualized parent/caregiver training program for each client
- Monitor progress and data collection
- Adjust goals based on analytic data
Qualifications:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a midlevel supervisor providing training to BTs and RBTs.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a midlevel supervisor providing training to caregivers OR have a BCaBA /BCBA Certification with 1 year of experience providing training to caregivers.
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a behavioral health setting
- Knowledge of ABA terminology related to developmental disabilities
- Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and principles
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
- Experience working with children is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
