Description

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new hire trainings
  • Provide training and instruction to behavior technicians that are working directly with developmental disabilities in a behavioral health setting
  • Utilize applied behavior analysis techniques to promote positive behavior change
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement comprehensive treatment plans
  • Adapt training techniques based on individual needs and progress
  • Cover 1:1 sessions as needed
  • Conduct parent/caregiver trainings
  • Create an individualized parent/caregiver training program for each client
  • Monitor progress and data collection
  • Adjust goals based on analytic data

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a midlevel supervisor providing training to BTs and RBTs.
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience as a midlevel supervisor providing training to caregivers OR have a BCaBA /BCBA Certification with 1 year of experience providing training to caregivers.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, preferably in a behavioral health setting
  • Knowledge of ABA terminology related to developmental disabilities
  • Proficiency in applied behavior analysis techniques and principles
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals of all ages and backgrounds
  • Experience working with children is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
