Description

This is a full time/direct hire by an established company with distribution and manufacturing operations located in Livermore, CA who offers ESOP (employee stock ownership plan) in addition to the usual benefit packages.

Job Duties:

Position reports to the HR Manager
Maintain employee timesheets and upload hours to process payroll
Monitor Paylocity Time & Attendance to update Timesheets/ Requests and to ensure that Supervisors are making approvals accordingly
Problemsolve Payroll system issues/ discrepancies
Discuss personnel needs with department managers and develop, implement, and evaluate procedures on recruitment, selection, and job placement for nonexempt personnel.
Enroll new employees in benefit plans and provide benefits orientation for medical, vision, dental, 401K plan, and Section 125 cafeteria plan.
Maintain employee benefit files, and other recordkeeping activities.
Process and submit 401K reports for Empower after payroll has been completed
Assists employees and supervisors with basic interpretation of HR policies and procedures. Assists HR manger implement of Online evaluation through PayloCity.

Required Skills/Abilities:

23 years of prior experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills, with proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office

Pay:
$65, $72,000.00 per year
