About the Role
*This is not a Front Desk position*The Back Chiropractic Assistant is responsible for keeping the office running on time, working up New Patients, and walking patients through their therapy and/or rehab. This specific position would help out our Back C.A. who handles "flow" and help our Rehab C.A. who handles all our patients who need rehab and therapies. We're looking for someone who is able to work in a fast-paced environment, likes learning about or knows about how the human body moves, and most importantly knows work is all about balance We give our patients the professional help they need, but we also like to have fun and make sure our patients enjoy coming to get better


Responsibilities:

• Walk patients to where they need to be, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment
• Assist with patient intake, including obtaining medical history and vital signs (New Patient Exams)
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient visits, ensuring cleanliness and organization
• Assist the chiropractor during patient examinations and treatments
• Provide support to patients during therapies and exercises
• Maintain accurate patient records and update electronic health records
• Input accurate records and charges

Qualifications:

• Knowledge and/or experience in rehab or body movement is preferred
• Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service role preferred
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and compassionate demeanor
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Ability to assess patients' needs and provide appropriate assistance
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems or willing to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced environment
