Corporate & Investment Banking ("CIB") delivers a comprehensive suite of capital markets, banking, and financial products and services.

A trusted partner to our clients, we provide corporate and transactional banking; commercial real estate lending and servicing; investment banking; equity; and fixed income solutions including sales, trading, and research capabilities to corporate, commercial real estate, government, and institutional clients across the globe.


The CIB Leveraged Finance group is seeking a Vice President, Lead Investment Banker to join its Charlotte, New York or San Francisco office.


In this role, you will:


  • Be responsible for independently working with clients and handling complex transactions.
  • Have welldeveloped knowledge of products and services, marketplace, and clients.
  • Be directly involved in the origination, structuring, and execution of Corporate and Investment Banking products and services for existing clients and prospects.
  • Assist in delivering the full range of products and services to clients through formulating financial strategy and policy with clients at the executive management level, managing client relationships, and executing mandated assignments in Bank, Institutional and High Yield capital markets.
  • Collaborate and consult with Investment Banking Coverage, Corporate and Commercial Banking partners
  • Manage Analysts and Associates on deal and pitch teams.

Required Qualifications:


  • 5+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Desired Qualifications:


  • Prior investment banking experience including leveraged finance product coverage
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills
  • Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with all levels of an organization
  • Knowledge and understanding of business development: business vision, strategies, and goals
  • A Master's degree or higher in accounting, finance, economics or related fields
  • Strong credit skills
  • Strong knowledge of debt capital markets
  • Experience building partnerships and consulting effectively with leadership
  • Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fastpaced and resultsdriven environment.

Salary Range:


  • Base Salary: $250,000 $250,000 USD Annual. This role is bonus eligible.
This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.


Pay Range
$173, $359,900.00
