IT Services & Support Specialist for our manufacturing client.
This position serves as an integral role within IT Shared Services, by encompassing task and project responsibilities across Desktop Support, Infrastructure, and the Technical Services Team and will be responsible for installing, configuring and troubleshooting hardware on end user devices, assisting with company-wide conversions, maintaining software updates and managing operating system updates.
What You'll Do:
- Actively monitor the incident management utility for active service records in order to diagnose issues and devise solutions promptly. Document all client interactions (service record followups) meticulously in the incident management utility within specified timelines, by adhering to established service level agreements.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of IT documentation and the knowledge base, by maintaining accurate documentation of configurations, procedures, and resolutions.
- Administer system access based on the user access request policy.
- Collaborate with endusers, offering training and assistance with ITrelated issues. Serves as the primary tech for executive support. Address and resolve technical problems related to hardware, software, and peripherals.
- Install and upkeep both hardware and software components, ensuring their optimal functionality. Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues across servers, workstations, and other IT equipment.
- Aid in configuring and deploying networking equipment, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Assist in planning and executing upgrades for network and desktop systems, encompassing software patches and firmware updates.
- Collaborate on monitoring and sustaining network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Manage IT storage areas efficiently.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- A valid, unrestricted driver's license.
- 3 years' experience in a business environment utilizing PC based software products, LAN, operating systems and utilities, including one year spent in PC.
- 1 year experience working with and troubleshooting Microsoft Office O365 support.
- 3 years configuring and troubleshooting computers running Windows 10.
- 1 year experience working with and troubleshooting client issues in a Citrix environment and using Director or other remote access software.
- Preferred CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+
- Preferred Exam MD102: Endpoint Administrator
- High school or GED or equivalent; and Completion of Technical training program.
- Preferred AA in Computer Science.

onsite in Valencia, CA

- This is a 3 month contract position with possibility for extension
- Must be eligible to work in the US; we do not sponsor Visas

$ $47.00 per hour
