- Provide Safety Leadership creating enthusiasm and participation among management, forepersons, and employees resulting in excellent safetyperformance.
- Chair the monthly and quarterly safety meetings and develop the daily toolbox meeting schedules and materials for the field.
- Collaborate with outside safety resources and internal management/employees to create a world-class safety culture.
- Maintain jobsite first aid and emergency response supplies.
- Coordinate post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
- Investigate all accidents by reviewing incident reports, interviewing witnesses, completing the accident investigation report form, and holding the Accident review Board to identify a plan to prevent recurrence.
- Monitor all site safety reports and maintain the company's safety bulletin board with awareness materials and postings.
- Track, compile and present leading indicator statistics to the leadership team
