About the Role
We are seeking a diligent System Support Specialist to ensure the smooth operation of our automated systems. In this role, you will monitor system performance, address technical issues, and collaborate with various teams to maintain optimal system functionality. Your expertise in troubleshooting and communication will be crucial in keeping our operations running efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Monitor automated material handling systems to ensure continuous and efficient operation.
- Troubleshoot system errors and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with software engineers and on-site management to resolve complex technical issues.
- Utilize custom GUI to operate and maintain system safety and performance.
- Coordinate with maintenance personnel to schedule and execute necessary system maintenance.
- Maintain detailed logs of system events and provide insights into system performance.
- Assess and report on the causes of automated robotic vehicle failures, ensuring timely service.
- Support the training of other team members in system troubleshooting and maintenance procedures.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a computer or automation-related field.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English.
- Ability to learn new equipment and assist team members effectively.
- Positive attitude towards receiving and implementing feedback.
- Proficiency in multitasking and managing multiple job functions simultaneously.
- Strong sense of urgency and commitment to resolving issues promptly.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and material handling systems.
- Experience with HMI (Human Machine Interface) and conveyor systems.
- Proficiency in basic computer skills and Microsoft Excel.
