    Job Title:
    Construction Project Engineer


    Location:
    Austin, TX


    Company:
    A leading local interiors General Contractor serving nationwide clients, specializing in healthcare, industrial, education, and retail sectors.

    Qualifications:
    We are seeking a dynamic individual for the role of Construction Project Engineer.

    The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

    Construction Experience:
    Prior experience in the construction industry is essential.


    Education:
    A degree in a construction-related field is preferred but not mandatory.


    Blueprint Proficiency:
    Ability to read and interpret plans and specifications is crucial.


    Meeting Management:
    Proficiency in scheduling and conducting meetings to ensure effective communication within the team.


    Flexibility:
    Must be adaptable and flexible in a dynamic work environment.


    Communication Skills:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.


    Legal Authorization:
    Must be legally allowed to work in the US.


    Self-Starter:
    A proactive approach and ability to work independently.


    Drive and Hunger:
    Highly driven, with a hunger to learn and excel in the construction field.


    Field and Office Presence:
    Comfortable working both in the office and in the field.


    Compensation:
    Competitive base salary of $60,000 - $70,000.

    Gas card for project-related travel.

    Company phone or stipend.

    Project Locations:
    This role will involve projects in Downtown Austin, East Austin, Westlake, and Georgetown.

    Responsibilities:
    As a Construction Project Engineer, you will be involved in various aspects of project management, both in the office and in the field


    Key responsibilities include:
    Reading and interpreting plans and specifications.

    Scheduling and conducting meetings to ensure effective communication.

    Demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic work environment.

    Serving as a self-starter and go-getter in project execution.

    Learning and growing within the construction industry.
