- Dentistry, endodontic, periodontics, space maintainers, oral surgery, Implants, fixed prostheses, and removable prostheses
- Diagnostic-examination of hard and soft tissue, x-rays, occlusal analysis and oral cancer screenings
- Developing and implementing treatment plans
- Restorations of teeth that is viable, using amalgam or composite resin materials
- Extraction of teeth which are determined a health hazard
- Emergency care for treatment of acute conditions (i.e. abscesses)
- Administration of oral hygiene education in conjunction with the oral hygienist, dental coordinator and dental assistant
- Performing surgical procedures on the teeth, bone and soft tissues of the oral cavity
- Additional duties as required

Pay: Competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases
Paid Time Off: 49-54 days of annual paid time offer per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 10 paid Federal holidays per year and possible 5 day paid absence for CME)

The Staff dentist will provide clinical guidance including patient treatment, four-handed dentistry, infection control, OSHA guidelines, x-rays and oral health education, knowledge and application of HIPPA/security regulations, and incompliance with VHA policy. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (Tuskegee)
Monday-Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm (Fort Rucker/Fort Novosel)
