    Thomas Cuisine is hiring a Full-Time EVS Housekeepers for The Eating Recovery Center in downtown SeattlePay: $20.00- $21.00/hr + depending on experienceSchedule: Tuesday
    • Saturday from 6am 2:30pmThe EVS/Housekeeper role plays a pivotal part in ensuring the well being of patients, visitors, and healthcare workers by maintaining a clean, safe, and hazard free environment within a single floor behavioral health facility.
    This facility located in the First Hill neighborhood of Seattle comprises 4 spas, 9 bathrooms, 36 beds, patient common areas, two break rooms, and multiple staff offices, all under the care of the EVS department.

    Your tasks will encompass diverse cleaning responsibilities aimed at contributing to a secure and hygienic environment that aligns with the hospital's infection control and safety standards.

    This position requires a flexible approach to work, as you will be expected to assist your fellow EVS/Housekeepers across various facilities on campus when needed.

    Properly handles chemicals per SDS and uses the proper personal protection equipmentUpon dismissal of a patient, in addition to the above, strip the room, properly dispose of linen and trash, clean and disinfect bed, frame, mattress, and pillow, remake bed, and other discharge policies and proceduresMaintains supplies for the area, keeping cart properly stocked and neat, organizes areas, records daily and weekly cleaning reports any added maintenance as it comes up.

    Properly labels and removes infectious waste bags and containersMaintains equipment i.e., carts, vacuums, etc. keeping them clean and in good working order. Reports malfunctioning equipment and items needing repair in a timely manner.
    Participates in replacing sharp containers, transports trash and refuse, removes empty boxesWashing and putting away dishes. Following all sanitation standards.
    Follow café guidelines concerning guest services, food and physical safety, maintenance and equipment/space cleaning requirements at all time.
    The role involves physical demands such as standing, bending, reaching, kneeling, and lifting up to 30lbs. The ability to push and pull supply carts weighing around 50lbs is necessary.
