- Completes minor repair work for production equipment and building repairs.
- Work independently and with other team members to complete repairs timely and safely.
- Performing basic plumbing tasks, which includes unclogging drains as well as fixing leaking faucets and toilets.
- Perform repairing and painting of walls as needed.
- Perform general facilities maintenance on the exterior of the building.
- Taking inventory of maintenance supplies and notifying the Supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
- Responsible for FOD control of facility, regularly cleaning and vacuuming overhead piping, ducting, wiring, etc.
- Promptly responding to requests for emergency repairs and clean-ups.

Job DescriptionJob Title: Maintenance Assistant
(This position is subject to the Export Control Laws, which requires employees to be one of the following: (a) a citizen of the United States; (b) a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (c) a person admitted into the United States as an asylee or refugee)
Summary of Position
Assists Maintenance staff with facilities projects and machinery/building repairs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Ensuring that all maintenance equipment is in good working order and cleaned of all oils, dust and debris.
· Responsible for conforming to the company's quality system procedures as documented.
· Preforms other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High School diploma or GED
Knowledge of basic plumbing and carpentry
Proven general maintenance experience
Ability to safety operate hand and power tools
QUALIFICATIONS
· Basic skills with hands (Mechanics, carpentry, plumbing, electrical, etc.).
· Able to follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
· To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily.
· Good verbal/written communication and customer service skills.
· Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with a strong work ethic.
· Ability to operate both a forklift and scissor lift.
· Comfortable with heights, working on ladders, and working above their heads
· Able to lift heavy objects
· A high sense of Urgency and responsibility is required.
· Must have a valid WA state drivers license
