    Job Title: Power BI Developer
    Location: Philadelphia, PA
    Type: Contract
    Compensation: Disclosed upon evaluation

    We are looking for a skilled Power BI professional to join our team. As a Power BI Developer, you will be in charge of creating and maintaining business intelligence solutions utilizing the Microsoft Power BI platform. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to produce meaningful data visualizations and reports.


    • Main Responsibilities:
    • Develop and manage Power BI reports and dashboards
    • Transfer SSRS reports to Power BI
    • Integrate Power BI widgets into web applications
    • Work with different departments to gather requirements and implement business intelligence solutions
    • Create and handle data models using Power Query and DAX
    • Ensure data accuracy and integrity through validation processes
    • Administer Power BI Service infrastructure, including workspaces, data gateways
    • Explore and implement new features of the Power BI platform consistently

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
    • Proficient in Microsoft Power BI
    • Strong skills in SQL, Power Query, M, and DAX
    • Experience with SSRS reports and transitioning to Power BI
    • Proficiency in designing and managing Power BI Service infrastructure
    • Deep understanding of Power BI deployment models and their impact on functionalities
    • Familiarity with import, direct query, and composite models
    • Knowledge of Power BI connectors for Big Data storage layers
    • Experience with data modeling, visualization best practices, and related tools
    • Familiarity with SQL Server, SSAS, and Snowflake
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
    • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
