- Review, prepare, and dispense medications and supplies using pharmacy protocols and standards.
- Provide pharmacological information by answering questions and requests of health care professionals and counseling residents on drug therapies.
- Develop pharmacological knowledge by participating in clinical programs and training pharmacy staff.
- Manage pharmaceutical inventory by forecasting needs and overseeing medication storage and security.
- Comply with state and federal drug laws, controlled substance regulations, and facility policies.
- Monitor and optimize therapeutic outcomes by promoting safe, accurate, and timely medication administration.
- Address and resolve medication-related queries and issues that arise during the shift.
- 7 on 7 off, 10:00pm to 6:30am
- Pharmacy experience.
- LTC experience a plus
- Kentucky pharmacy license.
