Description

The German Choral Youth (DCJ) empowers young voices

With around children and young people in approximately 2,500 choirs and ensembles, we are the largest representation of young singers in Germany. We promote musically-cultural education, participation of young people, voluntary engagement, and international exchange. In projects and educational programs such as SingBus or ChorLeiCa, we implement our focus on participation and inclusion - artistically, pedagogically, and organizationally.

To strengthen our team, we are looking for support for our professional team

immediately
a project manager for a three-year project on "Choirs with Social Impact"
part-time up to 20 hours/week, full-time or part-time (in a master's program) possible
workplace: remote, Berlin, business trips to projects

Tasks

Implementation of a three-year project on "Choirs with Social Impact"
Contents: establishment, ongoing monitoring, impact analysis of specific activities and, if necessary, optimization, preparation of good practice methods for different target groups
Budget: management, professional and appropriate use, and controlling of funding - with support from the specialist department, acquisition of further funding for implementation in other federal states
