    Marketing & Communications Specialist

    MISSION

    Support the marketing team by building and maintaining full communications timelines for assigned events covering website content, email, SMS, social media, and beyond. Execute assigned event campaigns via owned social media channels and/or through close collaboration with partners and talent. Other responsibilities include acting as liaison with the internal design team for creative needs (organic and paid), collaborating with NCLH on Sixthman event inclusion, leading influencer marketing campaigns, and showcasing Sixthman events as they are happening at sea.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

    · Digital communications strategy and execution across assigned events, including:

    • Grow and maintain all connected audiences for assigned events.
    • Lead strategy to activate all event communications channels from launch through landing in collaboration with the Community Experience and Marketing Specialists.
    • Build and maintain a full event communications calendar for all assigned events.
    • Raise awareness around major event milestones and increase engagement within the targeted community.
    • Master SMMS and Social CRM platforms to build, execute, and evaluate the most effective social media campaigns.
    • Create a content plan to showcase assigned events in real-time, drive key event elements and awareness, and set the event up for success for future iterations.

    · Support the company's marketing department including:

    • Advance Sixthman's show & tell marketing approach and best practices for utilizing photo and video assets.
    • Create compelling copy and pair it with industry-leading assets to communicate Sixthman event offerings, value proposition, and community building.
    • Serve as liaison to the Creative department by submitting design orders, monitoring progress, and trafficking assets.
    • Master Sixthman's digital photo and video asset management system.
    • Collaborate with NCLH, partner, host, and talent's marketing counterparts on joint promotions and event marketing opportunities.

    · Additional projects and duties as assigned.

    · Attend several of the Company's land or sea events annually to serve as or perform various duties at the venue as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

    · Bachelor's degree required (or equivalent experience).

    · 3-4 years of relevant experience with a focus on social media and content creation

    · Experience with Salesforce (or comparable ESP), SMS, CDP, SMSS, and other communications and audience management platforms a plus.

    · Social Media expert familiar with best practices across all channels including (but not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, and beyond.

    · Must have extraordinary verbal, written, and interpersonal skills.

    · Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

    · Detail-oriented with high accuracy and the ability to multitask.

    · Ability to work under pressure and adapt to challenges.
