    We are looking for a dedicated Health Communication Specialist with excellent community outreach skills to be part of our dynamic team at iCallidus. This position plays a crucial role in creating and executing communication strategies that not only raise awareness about public health but also actively involve various community groups.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Create and implement comprehensive health communication strategies to back public health initiatives and campaigns.
    • Create and share clear, convincing, and informative content across various platforms like print, digital, and social media.
    • Strengthen community outreach efforts, making sure that communication strategies effectively engage diverse audiences.
    • Collaborate with public health specialists, community leaders, and stakeholders to ensure health messages are accurate and culturally appropriate.
    • Assess the effectiveness of communication and outreach strategies, using feedback and analytics for data-driven enhancements.
    • Oversee content creation, distribution, and feedback collection processes efficiently.
    • Ensure all communications comply with regulatory standards, focusing on health literacy and accessibility.
    • Actively take part in community events and forums to establish connections and improve public health messaging.
    • Support in crisis communication efforts, offering timely and precise health information during public health crises.

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in Public Health, Communications, Journalism, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.
    • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in health communications or public relations, with a substantial focus on community outreach.
    • Demonstrated capability to develop and implement effective communication and community engagement strategies.
    • Strong writing, editing, and verbal communication skills, emphasizing culturally sensitive and inclusive content.
    • Excellent organizational and project management skills, able to handle multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic setting.
    • Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms, including content management systems and social media.
    • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively and build relationships with various stakeholders.
    • Knowledge of public health principles and practices, with a good understanding of community dynamics.
    • Experience in data analysis and utilization of analytics tools to measure the impact of communication efforts.
