The New England Center for Children (NECC), is looking for individuals who are passionate about helping our students lead more independent lives. NECC is a global leader in autism education and research. We provide a comprehensive structure to help children and young adults with autism through evidence-based services in home-based, day, and residential programs, in unison with ongoing research on educational best practices.
Autism Behavior Technicians provide direct care and ABA instruction to students in a classroom and/or residential setting. They collaborate with a team of professionals to instruct students in general curriculum areas including communication, social skills, activities of daily living (i.e. personal hygiene), vocational skills, adaptive physical education, and self-preservation. Autism Behavior Technicians assist with educational program design, Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) development, and have regular communication with parents and guardians. Our goal is to improve our students' overall quality of life by working with them to reduce the frequency of problematic behaviors and providing them with the skills needed to promote independence.
