The AWO Regional Association Central-West Thuringia e.V. is looking for a social or educational specialist for the location Altengottern starting immediately for 35 hours per week.

Who are we?

The Therapeutic Children and Youth Home "Im Schloss" provides care for children and adolescents aged three to 18 years. In our care, children and adolescents experience an intensive relationship offer in a system of reference persons, in order to be able to enter into positive, lasting and fear-free relationships. Our social pedagogical work is based on a participatory and appreciative approach. We also place great value on parent-centered work.

We offer animal-assisted therapy with a dog.

These are your main tasks:

Participation in the pedagogical work according to our mission statement and the applicable concepts

Representation of the interests of young people

Counseling work and crisis intervention

Creation and promotion of structures for children and adolescents in daycare, school and family settings
