    Smoky Mountain Resorts is a family-focused, collaborative and goal-driven hospitality resort company.

    Our Great Smoky Mountains community is significant to us As a third generation, family-owned, and operated business, we embrace a strong commitment to SMR's 'Spirit of Hospitality' and our Smoky Mountain community.

    This includes following all company policies and procedures in accordance with property manuals.

    SMR's Housekeepers will work 8-10+ hours per shift, 5 or 6+ days each week, based on occupancy and staffing demand.

    Holidays and weekends are affected by peak demand which means all team members must work together during those days to keep our operations running efficiently.

    Complete daily cleaning of assigned units to company standards maintaining acceptable room inspection scores within reasonable time frames.
    Maintain in-room inventory standards.
    Adhere to all safety policies and procedures.
    Arrange and properly organize housekeeping cart each day.
    Complete side work and special projects as assigned.
    Properly handle and use all chemicals required for cleaning guest rooms.
    Perform checkout service in any/all buildings as assigned.
    Communicate the status of the room as soon as it is ready for inspection or guests.
    Maintain a culture of legendary service and hospitality among all team members.
    Complete TOSHA certification to handle biohazards in compliance with proper training.
    Knowledge and ability to comply with all company operating policies and procedures.

    Stand and walk for most of the workday.
    Must have excellent problem solving and customer relations skills.
    Housekeeping experience required.
    Years of Service Getaway (receive a company paid vacation after a year of service)

    Ability to tolerate various temperatures while working outdoors, however most work will be performed indoors in an indoor office environment.
