Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer.

The Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, such as front-end loaders, bulldozers, excavators, and backhoes, to excavate, move, and grade earth and rock.

They will also be responsible for coordinating and completing excavation tasks safely, efficiently, and effectively. This role is located in Merrimac, MA.


Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy equipment, such as frontend loaders, bulldozers, excavators, and backhoes
• Knowledge of excavation practices, construction safety guidelines, and OSHA regulations
• Strong problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure
• Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and schematics
• Excellent handeye coordination and physical dexterity
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Physical demands:

This role involves repetitive motions, standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, crawling, lifting, pushing, and pulling heavy objects up to 50 pounds.

The Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer must also be able to operate heavy machinery for extended periods of time.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent, and a minimum of 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation in a construction environment is required.

Salary:
Commensurate with experience.

$ $35.00 per hour


Incentive pay type:

• Performance bonus

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday

• CDL A (preferred)
