    Description

    Assistant Corporation Counsel Position at the City of Chicago Law Department

    The City of Chicago Law Department is looking for a dynamic attorney to join their Torts Division as an Assistant Corporation Counsel. In this role, you will be involved in active litigation and trial practice.

    • You will work in either personal injury defense or workers' compensation, depending on your experience and interests.
    • Responsibilities include collaborating with different City Departments and managing your own docket of cases.

    Qualifications:

    • Cover letter specifying your interest in personal injury defense or workers' compensation.
    • Resume.
    • Law school transcript.
    • One writing sample.
    • Current attorney registration status printout.

    Application Process:

    Graduation from an American Bar Association accredited law school and admission to the Illinois Bar are required.
