This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company's locations: Silo Ridge Field Club, set in Amenia, New York.

Silo Ridge Filed Club is seeking a Valet Attendant to join the Valet & Transportation Department.

*This is a Seasonal role that will be from April October 2024. There are both Seasonal Full Time & Seasonal Part Time positions available*The Valet Attendant will create an environment where Members and Staff strengthen their relationships by sharing authentic, inspiring experiences and creating memories our Members will cherish throughout their lives and across generations.

Key Responsibilities

Greet members upon arrival and departure at the valet stand
Communicate with departments and coordinate transportation as needed assisting members transitioning through property
Maintain a realtime valet log of all member/guest vehicles onproperty
Complete opening and closing shift check lists
Restock golf carts with beverages, towels, and any other amenities as needed throughout the day
Limit cell phone use during shift
Effectively utilize club Relay radios across all departments
Arrive to assigned shift on time and in provided uniform
Ensure an adequate number of carts are staged in the valet area at all times
Maintain clean shuttles, club carts, and personal golf carts at all times
Assist with with togo deliveries from multiple locations on property
Upon closing make sure all carts used are cleaned prior to parking in the cart barn and plugged into charging stations for the night
Work closely with all departments to ensure seamless service while accommodating member requests
Promote activities, events, and club information effectively in accordance with brand standards
Assist with club and member events as assigned
Attend department meetings and trainings as necessary
Any other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Experience in luxury, highend, hospitality or customer service highly desired
Must have a valid Drivers License

Additional Requirements

Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
