We are currently seeking a permanent Department Head (m/f/d) for our Department of Medical and Induced Services, Pharmaceutical Division, located in the center of Berlin.


  • Your responsibilities
  • You will lead the department in terms of personnel and expertise, manage crossteam collaboration, and set priorities
  • You will represent the KBV in the subcommittee for pharmaceuticals and in working groups of the Joint Federal Committee, as well as other selfgoverning bodies
  • You will negotiate with the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Funds to manage pharmaceutical supply
  • You will develop statements and pharmaceutical policy positions for the KBV
  • Together with the department head, you will work on the strategic direction and further development of the department
  • You will be the point of contact for your department head, the National Association of Statutory Health Insurance Physicians, and external institutions
  • Your profile
  • You have extensive professional and leadership experience in the healthcare sector, ideally in statutory health insurance or the association of statutory health insurance physicians
  • You have a degree in human medicine or pharmacy, ideally with additional qualifications (e.g. public health)
  • You are skilled in negotiation, have strong communication skills, and can convince
