As part of the Capital Projects, Planning and Facility Management team the Facility Coordinator will be embedded in the Rotoflow - Highland Avenue facility providing day-to-day coordination of activities in support of production and facility preventive maintenance, custodial services, events, safety, procurement, contracted services and environmental waste.

As part of the on-site team, the facility coordinator will interact daily with the shop supervisor, technicians, engineering, EHSQ and Procurement.

This position reports directly to the Facilities and Maintenance Manager.


Required Skills / Abilities:


  • Develop manufacturing plans for the products built at the Port Manatee FL Plant. These manufacturing plans include work breakdown structures, bills of materials, and manufacturing routings. The routings include operation details, planned hours, tooling requirements, special processes and lessons learned from past projects.
  • Work with all plant functions to ensure these manufacturing plans, will produce products in the most efficient manner.
  • Interface with plant functions and offsite engineering departments to coordinate engineering changes and resolve issues.
  • Perform cost analysis for open and completed production orders.
  • Manufacturing Method (MM) creation, review, revision. These documents provide detailed work instructions to shop floor production technicians. The level of detail contained in these documents is above and beyond that which is found in typical production orders.
  • Work with Production Technicians & Supervisors to document work processes, product knowledge, and best practices which will be used to create and update the Manufacturing methods.
  • Investigate, develop, and evaluate method improvements, equipment needs, and other manufacturing change required to keep the Port Manatee Plant competitive with other equipment manufacturers.

Education and Licensing Requirements:


  • Minimum of 5 years of industrial experience is required. This experience must include familiarity with bills of materials and routings using an ERP system. Experience with SAP in an engineertoorder metals fabrication environment is strongly preferred.
