- Drafts and manages redlines for customer and vendor agreements, in compliance with contracts playbook and internal policies.
- Facilitates internal contract review, approval and execution
- Assists in maintaining legal systems and processes.
- Coordinates with internal SMEs for review of contractual terms. Coordinates with clients to ensure terms of contracts are fulfilled in compliance with the contract terms and regulations.
- Responds to legal-specific questions related to RFP/RFI bids and assist in responses.
- Maintain record-keeping of all contracts in designated database(s) including maintaining contract files, performing data entry, project set up and closeouts.
- At least 5 years of experience as an in-house contract specialist with specific experience in drafting and negotiating a high volume of commercial contracts.
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- Salesforce experience preferred.
- Notary Public preferred.

The Role:
The Contract Specialist role is responsible for (i) preparing, negotiating, and managing a wide spectrum of commercial agreements, (ii) providing cross-functional team support through negotiations, (iii) assisting the Contract Manager with RFP processes and (iv) serve as a backup to the Contracts Administrator. This individual is responsible for timely and efficient throughput while ensuring conformance with defined corporate guidelines. This individual will manage the end-to-end contracting lifecycle from initial signing to termination.
