Description

We are currently seeking an Inhouse Application Administrator (m/f/d) for our location in Hannover to support our customer installations.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring installations of our RailSys Software Suite.
  • In this role, you will provide 2nd level support for the installations and work closely with our customers, 1st level support team, and software development team.
  • The installations you will maintain include all stages from developer, test, to production environments.
  • You will develop scripts and administrative tools to automate packaging and deployment processes.
  • You will configure monitoring and develop monitoring plugins.
  • You will handle database administration and configure backups for the installations.
  • You will maintain configuration and operational documentation for the installations.

Requirements

  • You have completed training as an IT specialist or have a degree in computer science or natural sciences (TU, TH, FH).
  • You are passionate about innovative software solutions and digitalization in the transportation and mobility sector, with a focus on rail transportation, and want to contribute to a digital and environmentally friendly future for rail.
  • You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft and Linux operating systems, as well as server virtualization.
