RWJBarnabas Health, the largest integrated healthcare system in New Jersey, is seeking a Hospitalist for Full-Time Employment at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus located in Lakewood, NJ.
This is a great opportunity for eager physicians to join a well-established, multi-disciplinary team working alongside a strong support staff, including advanced practice providers, to provide high-level, quality-driven patient care at one of the top 150 community hospitals in the Nation according to Becker's Hospital Review 2023.
Ideal candidates will be motivated to join a busy practice, support a team-based approach to patient care, and collaborate with other hospitalists, case managers, social workers, bed managers, and others involved in clinical care, discharge planning, and patient/family communications. The Hospitalist will work a 7-on / 7-off, 12-hour clinical shift model to ensure seamless and appropriate patient care transitions.

About Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus
Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus (MMCSC), located in Lakewood, is a fully accredited acute care hospital dedicated to providing high-quality healthcare services to the community. An RWJBarnabas Health facility, Monmouth South is a sister hospital to MMC in Long Branch and also partners with Rutgers Cancer Institute of New Jersey, the State's only NCI-Designated Comprehensive Cancer Center, bringing the newest and most promising treatments to MMCSC patients. MMCSC is the only hospital in the region to offer private rooms on all of its inpatient units, providing an environment more conducive to healing. Wilentz Breast Center at MMCSC offers comprehensive services including 3D screening and diagnostic mammography, ultrasound, MRI, stereotactic breast biopsy, surgery and consultation, and genetic counseling. The Oncology Rehabilitation program is available to all cancer patients and survivors in need, whether they are newly diagnosed, currently undergoing chemotherapy, or long finished with treatment.
