We are excited to announce that we are looking for a Full-Time Procedure Scheduler at our Atlantic Coast Gastroenterology office in Brick NJ.
for the scheduling of patients and coordination of documents required for hospital based and endoscopy center procedures over the phone Also responsible for following up on unscheduled or cancelled procedures.
Clerical responsibilities include competently using general office equipment, obtaining accurate insurance, referrals and patient ID and coordinates pre-certification process.
Notifies doctor of patient cancellations and follows up with patient per physician's instructions Coordinates and confirms procedure and pre-admission testing bookings with hospitals at least 48 hours before procedureMay help out at the front desk at times
High School graduate or GED.
One year of prior medical office experience required.
