Job description
J. Hockman Inc. is a growing excavation and septic services company seeking a customer service/office assistant to join our small but awesome office team The ideal candidate should be a team-player, very reliable, and able to multitask while staying organized and showing great attention to detail.
Responsibilities
Provide phone coverage assisting our customers schedule appointments and answering questions about our services
Enter all appointments into our service software
Weekly reconciliation of all work orders and organizing incoming/outgoing paperwork to/from the field technicians
Processing check and credit card payments and following up with customers as needed on unpaid invoices
Assist with promotional mailings
Complete the monthly service record reporting within the required deadlines
Coordinate with local town halls to obtain plans, records, and permits
Other duties to assist with the office workflow and ad-hoc projects as needed
Requirements
2 years of experience working in an office environment, or in customer service
Tech savvy is a must – proficiency with Microsoft Office is required, as well as the ability to adapt to new technology and learn different software programs.
Excellent phone personality, customer service, and communication skills
Drivers license and reliable transportation
Please note that all tasks must be completed in the office, we are not able to accommodate a remote work arrangement for this role
