The Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina, located in downtown San Diego, is a waterfront resort that offers stunning views of downtown San Diego and the San Diego Bay. Summary of Job Description

As a Recreation Attendant at our resort, you play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests have a pleasant and memorable experience during their stay. Your duties involve maintaining clean, safe, and enjoyable environments in recreational areas such as pools, fitness centers, and sports facilities. Providing top-notch guest service by assisting with equipment rentals, organizing recreational activities, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Your friendly and engaging approach with guests helps to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. By upholding high standards of cleanliness, safety, and guest satisfaction, you contribute significantly to enhancing the overall guest experience at our resort.

This position offers a pay rate of $17.85 per hour.

Work Hours

Will have flexible shifts based on business needs.
Required to work holidays, nights, and weekends depending on hotel events.

Job Requirements

Good physical strength and stamina.
Ability to multitask effectively.
Will receive on-the-job training as needed.
Creating a fun and safe environment while maintaining resort standards.
Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Excellent customer service skills.
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
Comfortable working with individuals of all ages and backgrounds.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and public speaking skills.
Display creativity and socialization skills.

Job Responsibilities

Welcome guests and address their queries upon arrival.
Ensure the welcome desk area and athletic equipment are clean and organized.
Deliver exceptional customer service, managing concerns and complaints.
Ensure towels and amenities are always well-stocked.
Assist guests with towels and seating arrangements.
Provide information on poolside services and present menus.
Assist in setting up and dismantling poolside events.
Maintain and arrange pool furniture.
Clean up trash and reposition chairs as needed.
Create a friendly environment for resort guests.
Implement and execute resort activities.
Promote and introduce resort activities to guests.
