Summary:


The Vice President, Medical Group Operations (VP, MGO) is responsible for managing all direct operational aspects of the planned integrated medical group.

The VP, MGO provides leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that RUSH Medical Group achieves the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people in place to effectively grow the organization and to ensure financial strength and operational efficiency.


The VP, MGO must be a fast learner, thrive in dynamic organizations, and bring innovation as well as a culture of accountability.

In addition, this leader will be a results-oriented individual who can achieve success in a highly complex, matrixed, and growing organization.

The VP, MGO will be comfortable collaborating with physicians as well as executives and will possess outstanding communication and influencing skills.


EXPERIENCE AND PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Track record of success in standardizing and streamlining operations, preferably across multiple, disparate medical groups, ultimately reducing costs and improving profits.
  • Selfmotivated and executionoriented with a high degree of comfortability with autonomy and strong problemsolving skills.
  • Demonstrated excellent financial competence and operational rigor as well as exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship building skills.
  • Original thinker that develops innovative approaches and ideas; meets challenges with resourcefulness, generates suggestions for improving work, and course correction when necessary.
