The Position
TRPB is currently seeking a Betting Analyst to join the team at the Fair Hill, Maryland offices.


Position Purpose
The betting analyst position is located within TRPB's Wagering Integrity Unit.

This Analyst will assist team members with maintenance and operation of TRPB's Wagering Analysis & Security Platform, a proprietary system which delivers integrity tools to analyze betting for member racetracks and contracted regulators throughout North America.

The analyst will assist in the development of reporting tools, models and processes to analyze and report on betting anomalies.


Certificates and/or Licenses

  • Documents that establish both identity and employment eligibility
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Valid Passport

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Generation and review of reports
  • Analyzing and investigating reported data
  • Monitoring daily uploads of wagering data and ensuring all such data is processed completely, and contacting appropriate individuals for missing or incomplete data
  • Updating various forms of information for 40+ member racetracks
  • Monitoring report access and report function within TRPB's webbased portal
  • Answering inquiries from internal and external clients
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of parimutuel and/or sports betting
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency in mathematics
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Respect/understanding of competitive/confidential information
  • Must successfully undergo a thorough background examination
  • Must have own transportation to get to and from the TRPB office
  • Available to be scheduled at times during the year on weekends/holidays

Assets
