Security Officer

United Protective Services is looking for a professional security officer.

The individual will provide security detail as outlined in the post orders and establish a working relationship with the team, the client, local law enforcement, and the fire department.

This individual will always perform job duties with a constant awareness of their surrounding, making note of all activity that takes place in the assigned area.

A professional security officer must maintain a professional image and always demonstrate excellent customer service.

Job Duties
Promptly respond to any shift requirements as directed by the management team.

Familiarity with various local sectors, including but not limited to:
Retail
Hospitality
Corporate
High-Rise
Residential
Parking

Address conflicts onsite in a professional manner.

Provide assistance to clients as needed.

Contribute to maintaining a safe and organized environment.

Exercise judgment regarding site safety and security, following United Protective Services protocols.

Keep detailed activity logs in line with company guidelines.

Generate incident reports for any noteworthy occurrences.

Stay vigilant and report any suspicious activities according to established procedures.

Ensure proper maintenance and accountability of company equipment throughout shifts.

Ability to stand or walk for extended periods and work in outdoor conditions.

Additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.
