JOB SUMMARY

The Food Runner position requires an individual who works well in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multi-task and deliver the correct items to the Server in a timely fashion.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Deliver food orders to the Server in multiple areas of the Club and Pool area
Uphold sanitation and food safety principles.
Assist in the bussing of tables.
Maintain communication with management, kitchen staff, and service staff to ensure dining details are handled properly
Provide Members on dining options and general Club information
Take soiled tableware to dish room and unload dishes and glassware in designated areas
Assist setting up tables before and after service both in an ala carte and banquet setting
Performs other assignments and projects as required by the Food & Beverage Manager.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 16 years of age or older
Great attitude and highly selfmotivated.
Possess the ability to multi task in a fast

- paced environment

Excellent communication skills
Valid food handler's certification required

LICENSES AND SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

Food safety certification.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand for long periods and walk, climb stairs, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend, stretch and twist or reach.
Must be able to continuous repetitive motions.
Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
Must be able to work in a busy, noisy environment.
Must be able to handle working conditions which may be cold, hot, humid, wet/slippery.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
