The Role:

Moderna is looking for a Manager, Real-World Evidence Analytics in Princeton, New Jersey.

This role involves collaboration across various teams to generate real-world evidence for drug effectiveness and disease insights using diverse data sources such as claims and electronic health records.

Key responsibilities include conducting data assessments, exploratory analysis, creating datasets, and implementing statistical analyses using advanced programming in R, Python, SAS, and SQL.


Here's What You'll Do:


Collaborate with stakeholders in the real-world evidence community including Medical Affairs, Health Economic and Outcome Research, Epidemiology, Clinical and real-world evidence ("RWE") analytics team members on real-world evidence generation to evaluate drug effectiveness and to generate disease insights.

Serve as the real-world data ("RWD") expert in various data sources including claims, electronic health records, and registries.


Conduct data feasibility assessment, exploratory analysis, and data visualization using advanced programming skills in standard statistical software R, RShiny, Python, and/or SAS and database programming language such as SQL.

Create analysis datasets, generate summary report, and contribute to the development of protocol and statistical analysis plan.

Implement planned statistical analyses, interpret findings, and contribute to dissemination/publications in real-world evidence-generation studies.

Collaborate with the digital team on real-world data infrastructure development and analytical tools.

Implement appropriate analytical methods including statistical models and/or machine learning models to align with overall business objectives.

Use Git/GitHub and BitBucket for collaboration and versioning of operational, robust, and well-documented code.

May telecommute up to 3 days per week.


Here's What You'll Bring to the Table:

Minimum requirements:
Master's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics or related field


4 years of experience in the job offered or as a Clinical Data Scientist, Biostatistician, Statistical Programmer or related position.


Must have 4 years of experience with:
Statistical and machine learning models

Programming in R, RShiny, Python, SAS and SQL

Real-world data including claims, electronic health records, and registries.

Git/GitHub and BitBucket

Clinical development and industry standards in clinical programming

May telecommute up to 3 days per week.
