Overview and Summary
The warehouse and dock employee is responsible for receiving, stocking, counting, packing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse and cylinder dock in accordance to AWISCO procedures.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing and staging of customer orders
- Safely load and unload trucks in preparation for deliveries
- Receive deliveries and confirm products are properly stocked on shelves
- Conduct inventory cycle counts to guarantee accuracy of inventory control
- Perform duties such as manual lifting, packaging, taping, labeling operations and sorting
- Ensures all required prefill/postfill inspections before cylinders are released to customers
- Inspect cylinders for defects/test date issues to ensure compliance with
- Overall maintenance of the warehouse and dock facility
- Assist in training new hires
- Perform other warehouse related duties as necessary
Required Skills:
- Excellent time management skills
- Team oriented with strong attention to detail
- Must have basic computer related skills
- Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness in all aspects of the job
- Ability to adapt to a changing work environment
- Observes and practices safety and security procedures; uses equipment and materials properly
- Ability to simultaneously handle multiple projects at once and comfortable working in a highvolume role
- High level of organizational skills
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIORNMENT:
- Occasionally required to stand
- Occasionally required to walk
- Frequently required to sit
- Continually operate equipment
- Frequently required to lift/push/carry items more than 50 pounds
- Frequently work near moving mechanical parts
- Occasionally work in high, precarious places
- Continually exposed to outside weather conditions
- Specialized equipment, machines, or vehicles used: Pallet Jacks and Forklift

Pay:
$ $19.00 per hour

Experience:
- Materials handling: 1 year (preferred)
