Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care to residents, including assisting with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing
• Assist residents with mobility and transfers, including lifting and positioning
• Perform light housekeeping duties, such as cleaning and tidying resident rooms and common areas
• Follow established care plans and document resident observations and interactions
• Ensure resident safety and wellbeing at all times
• Respect and uphold resident rights and dignity
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members

Skills:

• Knowledge of basic caregiving techniques and principles
• Ability to lift and move residents safely
• Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare systems
• Understanding of resident rights and privacy regulations (HIPAA)
• First aid and CPR certification preferred
• Experience or training in social work or related fields is a plus
• Experience working with individuals with autism or in childcare settings is a plus
