SUMMARY OF JOB:
The Recruiting and Onboarding Specialist works closely with members of the Human Resources department and agency staff to ensure a successful and compliant recruiting and onboarding experience for applicants and new hires, as well as continually monitoring and updating HR personnel files compliance in accordance with funders and agency requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Uphold the mission, vision, and values of CORA Services, which includes valuing all individuals, supporting the individual's potential for growth, and enhancing a pragmatic service system approach.
- Work with all members of the Human Resources Department to build and maintain strong Human Resources programs and policies that support the mission, vision and values of CORA Services.
- Manage the organization's Recruiting system, utilizing it to efficiently fill open positions in a timely manner.
- Coordinate the recruitment process from beginning to end by:
- creating and posting job ads;
- Engage with new hires in the Onboarding process, establishing strong relationships with new hires through excellent communication to ensure that all appropriate paperwork is acquired prior to date of hire.
- Keep Hiring Managers and Human Resources Managers informed of new hire progress during the Onboarding process.
- Coordinate New Hire Onboarding training sessions:
- Invite new hires to sessions and track attendance
- Keep session schedule up to date
- Update New Hire Onboarding presentation as requested by Human Resources Managers
- Build the new hire's personnel file, ensuring documents are compliant based on funding source requirements for the new hire's position.
- Ensure all document filing is up to date.
- Represent CORA Services at hiring events and other recruiting functions, as needed.
- Partner with Human Resources Managers to update employee clearance information in the HRIS system; work with employees to complete clearance renewals.
- Carry out other administrative duties within the department as needed.
- Assist with Human Resourcessponsored events as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor, as needed.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
EXPERIENCE/KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
- 3 years' experience working in an administrative capacity in a fastpaced environment.
- Ability to be proactive and exercise a high degree of customer service
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and HCM systems, specifically Recruiting and Onboarding
- Excellent organization skills and extreme attention to detail
