Scope and Purpose:

We are seeking a Financial Analyst to help develop our financial, planning and analysis (FP&A) function.

In this role, you will be primarily responsible for preparing actual and forecasted profit & loss statements for business segments and products lines and contributing to financial improvements and discussions companywide.


Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Conduct financial analyses and modeling to support budgeting, planning and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with Accounting, Marketing and Operations to gather data for financial analyses.
  • Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances and opportunities for improvement.
  • Develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights on financial performance.
  • Work on special projects and ad hoc analyses.

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a businessrelated field preferred.
  • 25 years' experience working in FP&A or a similar role.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:


  • Strong organizational and analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to present analyses to senior management.
  • A solid understanding of the key components of a financial statement.
  • Ability to be a selfstarter who can work on own initiatives without constant supervision.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is preferred.
  • Experience with stochastic modeling is preferred.
